By order of SUSEP - Superintendência de Seguros Privados, the agency that regulates insurance in Brazil, some important changes have been made in Surety Insurance for Real Estate Rentals.
As of March 7, 2020, all approved insurance must be issued with the same term as the Lease Agreement.
The values will be accessible and there will be the possibility of payment in up to 10 times without interest on credit cards. For cash payment to Porto Seguro will grant a 10% discount.
For customers who do not have a credit card, a PORTO SEGURO credit card may be available for approved registrations (in the flags Visa or Mastercard). All credit cards of these flags will be accepted.
As of February 2, 2020, all renewals of the Surety Insurance will be issued with the same end date as the Rental Agreement, i.e. if there are 18 months left to end the Rental Agreement, the Surety Insurance renewal policy will be issued for the remaining 18 months.
